  • Updated

DistributorCentral is your complete solution for website and domain hosting.

Map your domain name to your DistributorCentral website to increase customer trust, add a professional touch, solidify your brand and trademark, inform customers, improve online visibility, and put you in control of your online presence.

Below are a few domain mapping prerequisites:

  • Purchase a domain.
Go to a domain registrar like GoDaddy, Namecheap, Domain.com, or NetworkSolutions, to find and purchase a domain name for your online store.
  • Decide the best hosting solution for you.
You can choose DistributorCentral hosting or hosting from another party. If you choose to take advantage of DistributorCentral's free hosting services you'll have your domain and website hosted and managed in one location at no cost. However, if you decide its best to have your domain hosted elsewhere, we have a solution for that too!
  • Keep your registrar account login information handy.
In the process of adding and mapping your domain to your DC website, you'll need to log in to your registrar account and update your domain's DNS. So make sure you have your login details available to make setup a breeze.
  • Setup and Test your website.
Before you can map a domain, you'll need to have your website created and ready for customers to browse through.

With these checked off your list, you're ready to start setting up your domain in DistributorCentral.  Configuring your domain is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Add your domain to DC
  2. Link your domain to a website in DC
  3. Point your domain to DC: DC hosted domains or Domains hosted elsewhere
