Product Update Method(s)
The Simple Spreadsheet must be uploaded to the Bulk Product Manager in your DC account.
Spreadsheet Upload Requirements

Must follow the Simple spreadsheet format.

Must export a new spreadsheet from DistributorCentral before applying and uploading product data updates to DC.
This helps to avoid over writing current data that is not reflected in older spreadsheets.

Must include a complete list of your products every time a spreadsheet is uploaded
Because of how our importer functions, if you don’t include all your products in the spreadsheet you upload, any products that are not listed will be removed from our database.

What type of products does this work best for?
Suppliers who have products with only Product Colors, Apparel Sizes, and Decoration Information can add and maintain products in DC using this spreadsheet.
For example, the following customization options are compatible with the Simple Spreadsheet:
Product colors
Decorations setup & run charges
Apparel colors
Apparel size up charges
What type of products does this NOT work with it?
The Simple Spreadsheet is not the best solution for you if any of your products have charges that aren't a decoration setup, decoration run charge, or apparel size up charges.
For example, the following charges are not compatible with the Simple Spreadsheet:
Proof charges
Artwork charge
3rd party billing charge
Product color up charge
What if you need to make an update that this format doesn't support?
If you're making a change to your product data that will make your products no long compatible with the Simple Spreadsheet format, please contact the DC Product Team to confirm.
Once the team confirms, we'll work with you to change the file format you provide DC for product updates.
