  • Updated
Add sale pricing to your products and make it available to all distributors for a given amount of time within DistributorCentral.

Before you begin, here's what you'll need:

  • Sale pricing start and end date
  • Regular pricing to be applied once the sale pricing expires

First, add your future Sale pricing & future Regular pricing for this product:

  1. While logged into DistributorCentral, find the product this sale will be applied to.
    • Enter the product name or number in the product search bar at the top of your dashboard
    • Start the search (hit Enter on your keyboard, or click the magnifying glass button to the right)

  2. Click Edit to the right of the product

  3. Next, click Pricing to manage this product's pricing

  4. Above the pricing table, find the "View" section to the right

  5. Select Future

  6. In the Future Pricing table enter the Sale Price

    • Enter the Quantities available
    • Select the Margin code in row 1 (click the green down arrow to fill the margin code down)
    • Enter the Sale's Retail price for each quantity
    • Add the Sale's Start Date
    • Add the Sale's End Date
    • Check the Display to Customers checkbox to the right (click the green down arrow to fill down)

  7.  While still in the Future Pricing table, enter the Regular Pricing (to take effect once the Sale has expired) under the future Sale pricing
    • Enter Quantities available
    • Select the Margin code in row 1 (click the green down arrow to fill the margin code down)
    • Enter the regular Retail price for each quantity
    • Add the regular pricing's Start Date (the day after your sale expires)
    • Leave the End Date empty
    • Check the Display to Customers checkbox to the right (click the green down arrow to fill down)

  8. Next, click Save at the bottom

Next, let's add the On Sale product attribute to make this product appear in Distributor Product Collections and searches filtered by "On Sale" products:

  1. Click Attributes at the top of the product editor

  2. In the Product Attributes, click Ordering Information in the left menu

  3. Click Is On Sale checkbox

  4. With the Is On Sale checkbox selected, click Save

Your product pricing will change depending on the sale pricing start and end date and you'll have fallback regular pricing replace your sale pricing once its expired.
