How to Add Product Size Information - Manually

In this guide you'll learn how to manually add product size information, like length, height, width, to your products in DC.

There are two places within DC to add Product Size information:

1. Product Dimension Information under the attributes
2. Product Size under Addl Information 

The primary Product Size information for DC products is entered in the Product's Attributes.

The Product Size attribute are used in our product search filters, in SAGE Product Integrations, and in DC APIs.

1. Click Products in the left menu
   
   
   
2. Click on Add/Edit Products in the submenu
   
   
   
3. From the product list page, search for the product
   
   
   
4. Click Edit to the right of the product you need to update
   
   
   
5. Next, in the Product Editor click the Attributes tab
   
   
   
6. From the Product Attributes, click Product Dimension Information in the left attribute menu
   
   
   
7. On the Product Dimension Information page, enter in the unit of measure
   Please note that the height, length, and width must be entered in inches, but if the unit of measure is used to recalculate. For example, if the length is 24 inches, but you have Feet as the unit of measure, it will be recalculated to 2 feet. 
   
   
8. Then, enter the Product Height (dimension must be entered as inches only)
   
   
   
9. Continue entering the relevant Product Dimension information: 
   • Length (inches only)
   • Width (inches only)
   • Weight
   • Thickness
   • Ounce Capacity
     
     
10. Once you have the dimensions entered, click Save
    
    

The secondary Product Size information is shown on the Product Details page.

This Product Size info is entered to a freeform field so you can describe your product size in a way that best fits your company's needs. 

1. Click Products in the left menu
   
   
   
2. Click on Add/Edit Products in the submenu
   
   
   
3. From the product list page, search for the product
   
   
   
4. Click Edit to the right of the product you need to update
   
   
   
5. Click the Addl Info tab
   
   
   
6. Under the Addl Info section, find Product Size
   
7. Enter the Product's Size information
   
   
8. Next, find Product Weight
   
   
   
9. Enter the Product's Weight
   
10. At the bottom of the Addl Info section, click Save 
    
    

Thats it! Your product now has a Product Size information.
