Transfer files to OneSource using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
Follow the steps below to learn how to send OneSource your CSV files using FileZilla's FTP client to insert or update your product inventory, order status or order shipment notification data in OneSource.
To get started, download FileZilla's free FTP solution to connect and transfer files to OneSource.
- Visit https://filezilla-project.org/
- Click the Download FileZilla Client All platforms link to start the download
Now follow these steps to connect to OneSource using FileZilla:
- Open FileZilla on your computer
- In FileZilla's Hostname field, type or copy/paste the following:
ostransfer.dc-onesource.com
- Next, enter your unique API Username (Key) & Password in the username and password fields
The API Username & Password are generated within your OneSource account: Learn How to Create an API Key & Password >> - Then enter

in the Port field - Finally, click Quickconnect
Now you can import/update your file by following these steps:
- Find your CSV file in the left section where your computer files appear.
- Remember your CSV file MUST follow the correct file naming convention!
{servicetype)_{anyname).csv
For example your inventory file should look something like this:inv_abc123.csv
- Remember your CSV file MUST follow the correct file naming convention!
- Click and drag your CSV inventory file to the "import" folder shown to the right
- Repeat this process as often as needed to keep your data up-to-date.
- Successfully processed files will appear in the "archive" folder
- Files that could not be processed because of an error will appear in the "error" folder
- Please review your CSV file to make sure its using the correct OneSources CSV format and that the file name is following OneSources naming convention
