You can customize your live website making any changes immediately visible to your customers, here’s how:
- While logged into your DistributorCentral account, click on the Websites menu on the left-hand side
- Click on Hosting Manager
- When the Website hosting manager page loads, find the website you want to edit, and to the far right click the Manage button
- You will be taken to a page where you can edit the website name, URL, domain mappings, and snapshots
- To customize your live website, simply click on the Edit button to the far right corner
- Once the website editor has loaded you can begin making changes to your website. Once a change is make, you must save the change to make it go live for your customers to view on the website.
You can also edit a version of your website that is not live. This is helpful if you are making a large change that will confuse your customers, if you need a “sandbox” website to test in, or to create a backup version of your published website to easily roll back to if anything dramatically changes that you don’t like.
- While logged into your DistributorCentral account, click on the Websites menu on the left-hand side
- In the submenu that appears below click on Hosting Manager
- When the Website hosting manager page loads, find the website you want to edit, and to the far right click the Manage button
- You will be taken to a page where you can edit the website name, URL, domain mappings, and snapshots
- To create a version of your website that is not live, go down to the Snapshots section of the website manager
- Click on the More button to the right of the published snapshot of your website
- In the menu that pops up, click on Copy
- Name your copied snapshot
- Click Copy Snapshot
- Once your snapshot is copied, you will be able to click Edit to the right of your new website version to launch the Website Editor.
