How to Add Categories to Products

Add relevant categories to your products to increase the likelihood of your products getting found easily in DistributorCentral searches.

Here's how to add Categories to your products in bulk:

  1. Log in to your DistributorCentral account

  2. Click Products in left-hand menu

  3. Next, choose Advanced Features

  4. Then choose menu click Category Manager

  5. On the Product Category Manager page, open the "Select Product Category" dropdownfive.png

  6. From the category dropdown, choose a category that you'd like to assign to multiple productssix.png

  7. Next, select products in the left box labeled "Products NOT Currently in this Category"seven.png

  8. Click the right facing arrow buttons to move the selected products to the right box labeled "Products Currently in this Category

  9. Repeat Steps 4-7 to assign products to more categories.
